I love this place. Especially because it is 3 blocks away from our house. Don't have to worry about drinking and driving. Great wine list and cheap top label Scotch. Full bar, no beer on tap, all bottles. You really should look at the menu before going. The best deal is the complete meal for 1 price - soup, salad, two entrees, and ice cream, all under $18. The menu for this changes daily so look at the website to see which day you want to go. Access the website, then click on restaurant, then menu. Lunch is also great and very affordable. Small restaurant so I would recommend reservations. Dress casual, older crowd, top notch service, very old school.

Haven't eaten there, but plan/hope to someday. The write-ups are great.
I have visited and looked. V cultural, yet modern. JaiLai courts even... (sp?)
A card room for their card games, which are unknown to me.

Go in and read the historical things & take a peek. Casual would not do I think, there.
Family ok, but adults are the mainstay, I feel.

I loved Basque food in Winemucca, Nevada, but it was much less formal there.
There is Spanish and French Basque, & I've no good idea of any differences, or
    which this place might be.

I bet this place is a gem, even if it only has a few facets.
    Bill
