Hey all, I'm planning my wedding. I wanted to have my ceremony at the japanese tea gardens in san mateo, but there are scheduling conflicts... so i wanted to pick your brains about local parks or any outdoor location to have a short ceremony during the day (start time to be somewhere b/w 2-4)
Thanks for your help in advance...

Re: location for outdoor wedding in san mateo area?
Tue, February 21, 2006 - 11:17 PMOh yeah, since we are on the subject of weddings, I am involved with an on-line auction going on right now that has a wedding photographer as one of the donors. Don't know anything about him, but he is offering a $2300 package for an opening bid of $500.
Ha! Wouldn't you know it, I just looked... No bids on that package for 3 weeks, and today there is one! Well, you could still swoop in there and get a pretty low bid I guess...
Auction ends at the end of the month
Here is the site:

We are doing this to set up a college fund for a friend's godchildren. She was recently killed in a car accident, after taking care of the godchildren, mother, (her friend) and father while the mother was dying of cancer. So it was a double tragedy for the kids... 1st their mom, then their godmother, who was on her way moving to be closer to them.
Sorry if I bummed any one out with that story, just thought that you might like to know the back story to the auction...
Thanks, Greg.
